frog fact
Children - who are growing and developing rapidly - are more vulnerable to the harmful effects of chemical pollutants found in common building materials -- products you won't find in a Frog.
We know that the years before a child reaches kindergarten are among the most critical in developing a love of learning and in predicting future success. We also know that bright, healthy, creative learning environments are an important piece of that puzzle. But, more often than not, good space is at a premium, especially within crowded job centers and on corporate and university campuses. This leaves early childhood operators to make the best of overlooked spaces or to settle for cheaper modular solutions – solutions that, while fulfilling an important need, weren’t designed with the health, wellness and full experience of little occupants in mind.
But now, bright, healthy, playful buildings that were designed around the needs of kids, parents and their teachers are well within reach.
Plus, they’re cheaper and faster than any suitable alternative.
Are you a parent who dreams of a place where learning comes easily, effortlessly, happily and healthfully for your child? Frog spaces are abundant in natural daylight, fresh air, green, and low-VOC materials, which translates directly into faster learning rates, improved health, a sense of comfort and wellbeing.
Are you a teacher who dreams of optimal flexibility? We designed our buildings to be flexible, adaptable and expandable mostly because you asked us to. Our first buildings ever were for an early childhood development center so we’ve learned a lot about what matters most to teachers and researchers: classrooms with vertical and horizontal display areas, variable ceiling heights to shape different zones, space for movement, for water play, art projects, gardening, sinks, potties and tons of storage.
Are you an owner / operator who wants all of these things; but just wants them faster, customizable, and at a lower cost to build, maintain and operate than other solutions out there. As a baseline, Frog buildings perform 40% to 50% better than traditional buildings. This translates directly into lower life cycle cost and more money to spend on programs and kids. Plus, Frog’s typical planning, design and construction schedule is about 6 months. That’s 50 - 75% faster than traditional construction which means you can open your doors sooner and get children started down the right, bright path.
Test the Frog fit. It couldn’t be easier. All you need is one minute to fill out our questionnaire (coming soon) to provide one, or multiple site addresses and a rough description of a project size and scope. Once that’s done, we give you access to our Frog Configurator Kit, an easy to use design tool that lets you play with a variety of different Frog product configurations on your site and test out interior layouts that could fit your program. If it looks like it might be a good match, our Planning Team will work with you to tailor your space and site plans, specify product and performance goals, and refine pricing and schedule.
