frog fact
Bright natural light, like that found in Frog buildings, decreases depression and pain among healthcare patients and increases productivity and happiness among hospital employees.
New policies are changing the face of the healing industry as we know it, prompting patients to demand better, more tailored patient experiences and triggering providers to respond in kind. The market is rushing to meet demand. By 2014, the healthcare industry will build over 60 million square feet of space dedicated to ambulatory care and other non-acute services - retail health clinics, community wellness clinics and specialty practice facilities. And, for aging baby boomers seeking a more active and enriching assisted living lifestyle, thousands of continuing care communities will build new facilities to accommodate wellness, fitness, recreation and enrichment activities.
But not just any kind of space will do.
No other building system is able to deliver the level of patient, customer and staff satisfaction at our speed, scale and cost point.
Can buildings positively impact health and wellness? A patient’s comfort and his or her ability to heal are closely linked. Ample daylight, fresh air and views to the outside increase satisfaction, shorten healing time and put visitors at ease. In addition to their clear health benefits, Project Frog buildings were designed to inspire, to encourage collaboration, and to be adaptable to changing technologies. Our smart, flexible spaces can accommodate a range of health and wellness needs and easily separate patient, visitor and staff areas.
How do I lower both upfront and lifecycle costs? Frog's energy efficient design uses 40% to 50% less energy than traditional buildings, reducing lifecycle costs and increasing money available to support staff and patient needs. Our shorter construction time also means doors can open within 6-8 months so that you can start serving patients sooner.
I need a multi-tenant facility…fast. Project Frog’s 3.0 Series was designed with you in mind. As the experts in green, panelized construction, we applied our expertise vertically, at a bigger scale without making any compromises in our speed, cost or performance. The result? A revolutionary kit of smart parts that will change the way buildings are made and the way we expect them to perform over their lifecycle.
Can you meet state and national requirements? Our mechanical systems are adaptable, our envelope design is flexible, and our interiors are customizable for a variety of primary and ambulatory care conditions, codes and senior living scenarios.
How can Frog complement our existing facility? Frog buildings are great additions to older campuses and facilities - whether for the long or short term. Exteriors can be easily clad to fit the surrounding design vocabulary of the campus while providing an engaging suite of indoor and outdoor spaces for new programs that bring mind, body and soul into balance.
How do I test whether Frog is a fit? It couldn’t be easier. All you need is one minute to fill out our questionnaire (coming soon) to provide one, or multiple site addresses and a rough description of a project size and scope. Once that’s done, we give you access to our Frog Configurator Kit, an easy-to-use design tool that lets you play with a variety of different Frog configurations and test out interior layouts to fit your program. If it looks like it might be a good match, our Planning Team will work with you to tailor your space and site plans; specify product and performance goals; and refine pricing and schedule.
