GE John F. Welch Leadership Development Center

GE’s John F. Welch Leadership Development Center serves as the key social hub of a 50-acre corporate learning center on the banks of New York’s majestic Hudson River, just 40 miles north of Manhattan.  Serving as an educational tool for the company’s 10,000 leaders who visit to the campus each year, the new facility showcases the world’s best-in-class, energy efficient building products, systems and technologies. Installation was complete in under 4 months.

Hunters Point Community Center

Hunters Point Community Center

As part of the first phase of the Hunter’s Point Redevelopment Plan, Project Frog was selected to create a 5,000 sf building for the evolving community. Situated on the edge of the bay facing San Francisco’s iconic skyline, the soon-to-be LEED certified facility serves as demonstration space for a range of community-oriented uses, including a public meetings and events, as well as arts and arts education, job training, and recreation.

Ilima Intermediate School

Ilima Intermediate School

Project Frog is working closely with Hawaii Natural Energy Institute (HNEI) to deploy a series of buildings for research of energy efficiency and sustainability of Frog structures throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The 1,200 sf structure shown here, is the test structure at Ilima Intermediate School on Oahu. It has been outfitted with high tech energy monitoring systems providing valuable research data for HNEI. The energy consumption data will give HNEI the knowledge to make educated decisions on the most efficient products and materials thus impacting the future of sustainable design in Hawaii.

Lincoln Elementary Child Development Center

Lincoln Elementary Child Development Center

The Project Frog team worked closely with Lincoln Elementary School to create a green, cost effective solution for its 5,000 square foot Child Development Center that was also capable of meeting the school’s tight timeline. Redondo Beach Unified School District’s school board unanimously approved Project Frog’s plan and the permanent facility, consisting of four early childhood classrooms, was constructed in less than six months. Made from predominately recycled materials, the high performance units boast many more eco-friendly features. Each unit is equipped with energy reducing components and additional design elements directly benefit the health and comfort of the building occupants. Serving children as young as six months, Project Frog’s solution provides a healthy and friendly learning environment essential for early childhood development.

Vaughn Next Century Learning Center

Vaughn Next Century Learning Center

Earning the name, “The Little School That Could”, Vaughn Next Century Learning Center, a LAUSD Charter School, is truly a model for school reform locally, nationally and globally. The school continues to stay ahead of their curve:  In August 2010, two state-of-the-art Frog classrooms opened to enhance their new sustainability program. The unique curriculum focuses on lessons of sustainable practices using the Frog buildings as a 3,000 sf teaching tool. The students will be aptly prepared for a future in California green jobs.

Crissy Field Center

San Francisco has a new icon thanks to the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy and the National Park Service. Project Frog’s latest smart building is located on the beautiful San Francisco waterfront at Crissy Field’s East Beach. The Center features high-performance classrooms, a science lab, an art room, administrative space as well as the Beach Hut cafe.

Watkinson School Solarium

Project Frog executed a 3,500 sf fast-track project to meet the school’s programming needs and budget while providing a healthy, sustainable, and productive energy neutral environment for students and staff alike. The result is a state-of-the-art learning complex that excites young people about science, teaches kids how to be global citizens and stewards, and reflects the creative spirit of Watkinson School as a whole.

Jacoby Creek School

The Jacoby Creek Charter School District was awarded a grant from the State of California to replace portable trailers on their 6-acre campus, with the goal of occupancy by the start of school in fall 2009.  Project Frog’s quick deployment combined with the existing DSA pre-check certification ensured the tight timeline would be met.

Jim Russell Racing Drivers School / Audi Experience

The Project Frog team joined forces with Emotive Group to create a world-class racing school at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, California. The new 14,000 sf Jim Russell Racing Drivers School and Audi Driving Experience is comprised of a learning and demonstration environment, media center, café, and lounge overlooking the track at Turn 1.
